“Fantastic Beasts” este un prequel (producție a cărei acțiune se desfășoară înainte de evenimentele relatate în producția originală) al seriei “Harry Potter” și prezintă aventurile lui Newt Scamander (interpretat de Eddie Redmayne), un autor de succes din lumea vrăjitorilor. Călătoriile sale îi vor scoate în cale cele mai fantastice creaturi, iar cartea sa, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, va deveni foarte importantă, iar elevii de la Hogwarts o vor folosi în timpul cursurilor.
