Mi se întâmplă de multe ori să-mi ceară lumea recomandări, la ce seriale sau filme să se uite, știind că-s o cinefilă înrăită, ca să nu zic obsedată. Și sper că n-am dezamăgit pe nimeni prin titlurile date, mai ales când vine vorba de unul din serialele mele favorite: Sherlock, varianta produsă de BBC. Toată lumea a auzit de Sherlock, unii au citit cărțile, alții au văzut filmele. Ei bine, serialul merită toți banii, se apropie cu pași repezi de perfecțiune (trebuie să se încheie ca să pot spune dacă și finalul a fost în ton cu întreaga desfășurare a acțiunii). Dar nu glumesc și nu folosesc vorbe mari fără motiv când vă garantez că acest serial este, poate, cel mai bun pe care l-ați putea vedea vreodată! Rar mi-a fost dat să văd un serial atât de bine construit, de palpitant și amuzant în același timp, cu actori atât de convingători și povești scrise fără cusur. Deși se încadrează în categoriile mister, dramă și crimă, are destule momente amuzante și câteva scene de dragoste care te țin cu sufletul la gură și-ți accelerează ritmul inimii. Sherlock și John se ajută reciproc nu doar pentru a rezolva cazuri suspecte, ci și în poveștile amoroase în care sunt implicați de-a lungul serialului.
Să începem cu actorii. Benedict Cumberbatch și Martin Freeman, Amanda Abbington, Rupert Graves, Una Stubbs și Andrew Scott, plus Mark Gatiss, actor și scenarist în același timp; ați mai auzit de numele astea? Sincer, eu nu auzisem decât de Benedict, pentru că-l remarcasem într-un film lansat în 2011, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, dar ceilalți, pentru mine, erau niște anonimi (pe Martin Freeman l-am văzut în The Hobbit după ce am urmărit serialul). Până când, într-o frumoasă seară de toamnă, m-am decis să urmez sfatul unui bun prieten și să vizionez primul episod din Sherlock. Actorii au fost prima piesă din puzzle care m-a vrăjit, Benedict, cel puțin, este incredibil, nu-l mai pot identifica pe Robert Downey Jr. cu Sherlock, nu de când am văzut serialul acesta. Dar nu doar el face un rol excelent, Martin, Amanda, Rupert, Una, Mark și mai ales Andrew sunt și ei la înălțime, extrem de credibili, foarte maleabili în interpretările lor, dar și cu un accent britanic de toată frumusețea. Cu toții par făcuți pentru aceste roluri, în special Benedict și Andrew, care portretizează două personaje antitetice de o complexitate ieșită din comun, rar mi-a fost dat să văd 2 personaje opuse atât de bine conturate și atât de convingătoare. Duelul dintre „îngerul” aparent insensibil și „demonul” capricios e plin de scântei și răsturnări de situație, dar rolurile sunt atât de bine jucate încât mi-a venit greu să nu-l simpatizez și pe Moriarty (de Sherlock m-am îndrăgostit); la urma urmei, legătura dintre cei doi este geniul, iar această calitate face misiunea de a urî personajul negativ, imposibilă. Un Sherlock mândru, rece, intuitiv, zeflemist, de-o inteligență și agerime sclipitoare, conștient de calitățile sale, împotriva unui Moriarty pișicher, viclean, crud, plin de surprize, la fel de inteligent și ager. Nici unul din ei nu poate fi pictat doar în nuanțe pozitive sau negative, ambii sunt umani, predispuși erorilor și imperfecțiunilor; dar tocmai aceste imperfecțiuni îl transformă pe Sherlock în eroul perfect, iar pe Moriarty în adversarul cel mai potrivit.
Puterea de atracție pe care a exercitat-o acest personaj negativ asupra mea m-a făcut să-l detronez pe Joker, cel mai reușit personaj negativ, și să-l admir pe acest geniu al răului, groaznic de inteligent dar atât de fascinant. Eh, dar Sherlock chiar vă va lăsa cu gura căscată, n-ați mai văzut asemenea personaj, varianta Robert Downey Jr nu-i ajunge nici la degetul mic, după părerea mea; este încântător și totuși, insuportabil, sclipitor, dar atât de ignorant în ceea ce privește sentimentele, genial de ironic și, mai ales, hipnotizant! Va mai apărea un personaj negativ și în sezonul 3 dar pe mine nu m-a dat pe spate, Moriarty e mult mai bine conturat și mult mai impresionant! Mycroft Holmes, în schimb, va avea o apariție mai consistentă în sezonul 3, ceea ce-i grozav!
Trecând la scenariu, trebuie să spun că toate cele 9 episoade de câte 90 de minute fiecare sunt absolut incredibile! Deși un episod durează o oră jumătate, nici un amănunt nu poate fi eliminat fără a deregla întreaga structură a poveștii, deoarece toate 9 sunt în conexiune cumva, sunt cursive și prezintă gradat duelul, tacit la început, dintre Moriarty și Sherlock, apoi dintre Sherlock și Magnussen. Veți rămâne cu ochii ațintiți asupra ecranului, nu veți mai auzi nimic în jur decât coloana sonoră bine aleasă și vă veți lăsa purtați de poveste, pentru ca la final, să nu vă dați seama ce repede a trecut timpul! Deși acțiunea fiecărei povești este plasată în secolul XXI, această variantă a lui Sherlock fiind una modernă și nonconformistă, suspansul este la el acasă și tensiunea vă va sugruma în momentele în care Sherlock își va etala talentul și istețimea. Deși am fost sceptică la început, am fost vrăjită de scenariu și surprinsă în cel mai plăcut mod de această producție; pentru mine, piesa cea mai importantă într-un film o reprezintă scriptul, iar în acest caz, scenariștii au făcut o treabă a naibii de bună! Înarmați-vă cu răbdare și veți sfârși cu inima plină de emoții contradictorii: uimire, admirație, pasiune, durere, compasiune, obsesie sau nerăbdare, ură pe alocuri. Scenele în care Sherlock îl confruntă pe Moriarty sunt de-o intensitate strivitoare, dar de multe ori, sunt presărate cu niște schimburi de replici care m-au lăsat cu gura căscată; veți vedea că Sherlock are niște line-uri memorabile, iar adversarul său nu se lasă nici el mai prejos. Și, ca să fie și mai atractiv, scenariul prezintă în multe locuri dialoguri de-un comic delicios între Lestrade sau John și Sherlock sau fratele său, Mycroft; prietenia care se leagă între John și genialul Sherlock mi-a dat fiori, pentru că arată clar ce este loialitatea, încrederea, respectul, afecțiunea și puterea de sacrificiu. Nu vreau să dau spoilere, dar legătura de camaraderie dintre cei doi prieteni va trece prin foarte multe încercări! Iar conexiunea stranie ce-i unește pe „înger” și pe „demon” este observată în paralel, ceea ce face ca efectele acestor două legături asupra lui Sherlock să poată fi urmărite pas cu pas, iar momentele explozive care apar să fie numeroase! În sezonul 3 va apărea chiar un demon sub formă de înger, surpriza va fi de proporții, așa-i că v-am stârnit?

Țin să remarc și frumusețea costumelor și a coloanei sonore, dar și minunata muncă pe care o depune regizorul: veți vedea că unele scene sunt filmate în așa fel încât vă veți simți și voi acolo, printre martorii evenimentului, atât sunt de tulburătoare; nu mai spun de efecte, care sunt super, super! Tehnicile folosite de regizor reprezintă un punct forte al serialului, vă veți da seama și singuri, dacă veți accepta provocarea și veți viziona Sherlock. Ar mai fi o grămadă de spus despre acest serial care pe mine m-a cucerit din prima secundă, dar vă las să mai descoperiți și singuri misterele elucidate și frumusețea poveștilor, pentru că merită văzut nu o dată, ci de mai multe ori! Iar episoadele finale ale celor 3 sezoane sunt cu adevărat explozive, va trebui să revedeți serialul ca să vă mai alungați semnele de întrebare din cap.
Nu știu dacă pot să-mi aleg o parte preferată, deoarece toate aspectele mi se par formidabil de bine gândite și totul, de la actori la scenariu, de la replici la coloana sonoră, de la regie la costume, este excelent. Am folosit o grămadă de adjective până acum și simt că nu reflectă nici măcar jumătate din impactul pe care serialul l-a avut asupra mea și calitatea sa net superioară în raport cu celelalte producții din ultimii ani. Nu-mi rămâne decât să-mi las sufletul să vorbească și să pună cât de cât ordine în labirintul de idei care s-a format în capul meu odată cu terminarea filmului. Sper că v-am convins să urmăriți măcar un episod, pentru că restul va veni de la sine; o poveste atât de specială nu trebuie ignorată pentru că va ști cu siguranță să trezească în voi cea mai variată paletă de impresii și vă va subjuga. Nu trebuie ratat!
