Cu siguranță, are șanse foarte mari, mai ales că “The Revenant” se bucură de aprecierea criticilor și a primit în total 12 nominalizări, inclusiv pentru Cel mai bun film, Cel mai bun regizor și Cel mai bun actor într-un rol principal. Filmul lui Iñárritu este urmat de “Mad Max: Fury Road” cu 10 nominalizări și “The Martian” cu 7 nominalizări.
