Din distribuție fac parte actorii: Mimi Brănescu, Dana Dogaru, Sorin Medeleni, Ana Ciontea, Judith State, Marin Grigore, Rolando Matsangos, Cătălina Moga, Ilona Brezoianu.
Acțiunea din Sieranevada are loc la trei zile de la atentatul din redacția hebdomadarului parizian, Charlie Hebdo și la patruzeci de zile de la moartea tatălui său, când Lary, un medic trecut de 40 de ani, urmează să își petreacă ziua de sâmbătă însoțit de tânăra lui soție, în sânul familiei, reunite cu ocazia comemorării celui dispărut. Evenimentul, însă, nu se derulează conform așteptărilor.
Cel de-al 4-lea lungmetraj regizat de Cristi Puiu are imaginea semnată de Barbu Bălășoiu; Jean Paul Bernard, Filip Muresan și Christophe Vintrignier au realizat sunetul, Maria Pitea s-a ocupat de costume în timp ce Mojca Gorogranc Petrushevska a realizat machiajul. Letiția Ștefănescu și Ciprian Cimpoi au semnat montajul iar Cristina Barbu scenografia, Anca Puiu –producător.
