Bear Grylls, celebrul expert în tehnici de supraviețuire și fost soldat SAS ajunge în mijlocul unui câmp de luptă, la 25 de ani după ce a plecat din armată. Invitat chiar de Președintele Volodimir Zelenskyy, Grylls merge în Ucraina. Ucrainenii îndură și supraviețuiesc de mai bine de un an, dar vorbesc deschis și cu speranță despre viața în război. Bear ajunge la vechea linie a frontului din orașul Irpin, la doar 10 kilometri de Kiev. Acolo, îl întâlnește pe Oleksandr, un soldat care era doar un civil înainte de război. Bear va auzi povești despre eroism, supraviețuire, dar și tragedie.
