Fata din tren, titlu original The girl on the train, e un thriller psihologic captivant regizat de Tate Taylor, după un scenariu scris de Erin Cressida Wilson. Scenariul e o adaptare a romanului Fata din tren scrisă de Paula Hawkins în 2005, un roman thriller care a șocat lumea și care la nivel mondial s-a vândut în peste 15 milioane de exemplare. Din păcate, cum se întâmplă mai nou, pentru ca cinefilii să fie atrași în sălile de cinema, în trailer s-au dat prea multe detalii. Eu unul am bănuit cine e criminalul din trailer, deși nu am citit cartea, dar nu am regretat o clipă că l-am vizionat la cinema. L-am vizionat în avanpremieră azi de la ora 20:00 la Cinema Dacia Reșița și cu această ocazie le mulțumesc organizatorilor pentru invitație.
Rachel e o alcoolică, instabilă emoțional, care nu s-a refăcut după divorțul de fostul ei soț, Tom Watson, care a înșelat-o și a părăsit-o pentru agenta imobiliară Anna. Ea ia în fiecare zi trenul spre New York, stând în al treilea vagon și urmărește cuplul Watson, care acum are un copil. În timpul acestor călătorii zilnice, ea devine obsedată de Megan, care locuieşte la 2 case distanţe de unde reședința locuiau ea şi fostul soţ.
Rachel o invidia pe Megan, deși nu o cunoscuse niciodată. O invidia pentru că avea tot ce ea pierduse și un soţ tandru care o iubea. Mi-a plăcut cum regizorul spune povestea din perspectiva celor 3 femei: Rachel, Anna și Megan, și cum jonglează cu trecerea timpului (când în prezent, când în trecut). Acțiunea avansează ca un melc, dar ajungem să cunoaștem fiecare personaj în parte și să ne facem o idee despre cine ar putea fi cel care e de vină pentru dispariția lui Megan. Fiecare personaj poate fi vinovatul.
Mie unul mi s-a părut că regizorul încearcă să imite stilul de filmare al lui David Fincher din Fata dispărută. Și de această dată avem parte de o femeie. În Fata dispărută era ideea de „femeie perfectă”, acum e vorba despre o femeie depresivă, alcoolică și care își dorește copii, chiar dacă nu poate avea. Și acest film are parte de mistere și trădări care împreună formează un puzzle.
Să nu vă mirați dacă vreuna dintre cele 3 actrițe va fi nominalizată la vreun premiu. De ce? Joacă roluri total diferite față de ce am fost obișnuiți până acum. Blunt, cu care am fost obișnuit să fie o eroină sau o eternă îndrăgostită, m-a uimit în acest rol. E buhăită de băutură şi acele pierderi de memorie. Efectiv m-a uimit. E valabil şi pentru Ferguson care interpretează excelent rolul de mamă şi de soţie care se simte ameninţată de fostă. A fost un rol total diferit faţă de Misiune imposibilă 5. Iar Bennett? Pe cât am admirat-o pentru curajul ei din Cei 7 magnifici, pe atât de mult nu a fost de acord cu ceea ce face aici. Deşi are doar un cameo, şi Lisa Kudrow m-a impresionat.
Nici cu bărbaţii nu mi-e ruşine. Theroux e tipul calm chiar şi atunci când fosta soţie îl agasează, Ramirez e psihologul care asimilează secretele tuturor pacienţilor iar Evans e perfect în soţul gelos. Din păcate, ei apar mai puţin decât cele 3 actriţe. Dar fără ei acţiunea ar fi ca atunci când te-ai apuca să asamblezi un puzzle dar nu-l termini niciodată.
Hawkins spunea că sursa de inspirație pentru captivantul său roman polițist, plin de martori deveniți suspecți, a provenit chiar din experiența de zi cu zi a acesteia, care făcea naveta dintr-un capăt în celălalt al Londrei: „Exista o rută anume unde trenul reușea mereu să se strice, așa că nu aveam de-ales decât să stau pe scaun și să mă uit pe geam, către blocurile de apartamente, de unde puteam să văd până în camerele de zi ale locatarilor.
