Personajele din „Taximetriști”, comedia despre viața de noapte din București văzută de doi taximetriști, Liviu (Rolando Matsangos) și Lică (Alexandru Ion), ce iau parte la o serie de evenimente pline de umor și răsturnări de situație, apar într-un videoclip lansat de rapperul Spike pentru o piesă cu același titlu, scrisă special pentru coloana sonoră a filmului regizat de Bogdan Theodor Olteanu.
„Tot timpul am fost îndrăgostit de cinematografie. Am un background în post-producție video și totodată am filmat timp de opt ani videoclipuri pentru aproape toate numele din industria muzicală. M-am lăsat de asta acum ceva timp să mă ocup de muzică. E foarte fain că muzica m-a dus în lumea de care îmi era dor și pe care nu credeam că o mai întâlnesc.”, povestește Spike.
Pentru filmările la clip, Spike (Paul Mărăcine) a mers, pentru prima dată, într-un taxi pe o platformă: „Taxiul era pe o platformă. Am filmat aproape 30 minute. Și după aceea, a durat cam o oră să ne întoarcem. Am întrebat de ce nu filmăm în continuare dacă tot ne plimbăm de nebuni. Răspunsul a fost foarte simplu – „Paul … afară e frig și oamenii de pe platformă au înghețat”. A fost primul taxi fără șofer cu care am mers în viața asta.”

„Sunt prieten cu Adrian Nicolae de foarte mult timp. El mi-a propus colaborarea. A fost foarte tare că am ajuns să joc alături de el un cameo în film. Deși aveam o singură replică, m-am simțit parcă pentru prima dată în fața camerei. E o cu totul altă experiență.”
„Era greu să scăpăm de fascinația taximetriștilor. Pentru protagoniști am pornit de la clișeele majore (taximetristul dezinvolt / taximetristul reținut) și apoi ne-am străduit să nuanțăm personaje, să ne jucăm de-a „uite clișeul, nu e clișeul” până obținem un balans bun pentru o comedie despre oameni vii.”, spune Adrian Nicolae.
„Aș vrea ca publicul să rămână în minte cu multe din momentele în care actorii fac superb ceea ce fac. Eu le-am văzut de zeci (sute?) de ori și sunt încă fermecat de ele/ ei.
