Reprezintă continuarea filmelor Ghostbusters (1984) și Ghostbusters II (1989), ambele regizate de tatăl lui Reitman, Ivan, și al patrulea film din franciza Ghostbusters.

Am văzut Ghostbusters: Afterlife la Cinema City, Park Lake, la o vizionare cu totul specială. Mai exact, o proiecție despre care nu știam nimic. Poveste și personaje
Callie (Carrie Coon), o mamă singură și fără niciun ban, se mută împreună cu cei doi copii la Summerville, Oklahoma. Ea a moștenit recent o fermă de la un tată care a abandonat-o în mod misterios când era copil.
