După succesul primului film “Goosebumps” și al cărților omonime, care au cucerit fanii genului horror, partea a doua, “Goosebumps 2: Halloween bântuit”, reînvie la propriu sărbătoarea spiritelor, oferind spectatorilor o supradoză de adrenalină, cu aventuri și umor din plin, pentru întreaga familie. Filmul rulează pe marile ecrane, în avanpremieră, de sâmbătă, 27 octombrie 2018, iar pe 2 noiembrie a.c. se lansează în cinematografele din toată țara.
Oare cum ar arăta Halloween-ul, dacă ar fi real? Iată premisa de la care pleacă noul film “Goosebumps 2: Halloween bântuit”, o aventură inspirată de îndrăgitele cărți pentru copii ale scriitorului R.L. Stine, tipărite în 400 milioane de exemplare și traduse în 35 de limbi.
În orășelul Wardenclyffe, în noaptea de Halloween, Sonny și Sam găsesc, într-o casă abandonată, un manuscris numit „Haunted Halloween”. Când îl deschid, cei doi băieți eliberează, fără să știe, marioneta-ventriloc Slappy. Inițial simpatic, acesta devine tot mai răutăcios și periculos, amenințând să învie toți monștrii, astfel încât sărbătoarea de Halloween să fie veșnică. Pe măsură ce diverse creaturi stranii prind viață, haosul cuprinde întreaga comunitate și apocalipsa pare tot mai aproape, iar cei doi prieteni, ajutați de Sarah, sora lui Sonny, trebuie să-l împiedice pe Slappy să-și pună în aplicare planurile malefice, să-şi salveze familia şi oraşul. Peripețiile prin care trec sunt pe cât de palpitante, pe atât de comice, dar, mai mult decat atât, îi învață valoarea prieteniei și a familiei.
Cei trei actori protagoniști, prieteni și în afara platourilor de filmare, reuşesc să ne atragă în lumea lor hazlie, să ne facă părtași la aventurile personajelor. Nu lipsesc din “meniul” de Halloween hârci, fantome, vampiri și vârcolaci, schelete și mumii, pitici de gradină și păpusi, păianjeni, dovleci periculoși și chiar niște ursuleți gumați absolut terifianți – personaje mai degrabă simpatice decât înfricoșătoare, într-o super-aventură comică, pentru întreaga familie!
La rândul său, vedeta seriei Goosebumps, Slappy (care împlinește 25 de ani de la debutul în cartea “Goosebumps: Night of the Living Dummy”),este interpretat de către actorul Avery Lee Jones, care îl transformă pe manechinul ventriloc într-un personaj real, ce interacționează cu actorii, nu doar o creație digitală. Acțiunile lui Slappy pe platoul de filmare sunt completate de patru marionete complexe, mânuite de echipa Legacy Effects din Los Angeles. Însuși Stine se declară cucerit de film și de munca realizatorilor:“Sunt uimit de ce au putut face!”
