Noul film Marvel se ridică la nivelul primei părți, ba chiar îl întrece în anumite privințe, mai ales când vine vorba de personaje. Dacă ai rămas cu întrebări după vizionarea primului film, stai liniștit, James Gunn îți oferă răspunsurile mult așteptate. Pentru că am menționat mai devreme personajele, trebuie să subliniez faptul că toți membrii echipei sunt parcă descriși cu mai multă atenție, dincolo de de perdeaua groasă de glume. Astfel, ți-e dat să descoperi și durerile sau slăbiciunile lor, nu doar abilitățile de luptă și tupeul de a nu pleca privirea niciodată.
Drax (Dave Bautista) este, alături de Baby Groot (Vin Diesel), starul peliculei: cu limbajul său elevat, ce contrastează puternic cu înfățișarea de uriaș periculos, Drax e de un comic ieșit din comun. Relația dintre Quill și Rocket (Bradley Cooper) este, de asemenea, mai atent analizată, și pe merit. Încă din primul film între cei doi sar scântei, iar în această parte, conflictul e și mai amplificat. Povestea câștigă profunzime oferind mai multe detalii despre Rocket și trăirile sale, să fii un experiment nu poate să fie un sentiment prea plăcut.

Mantis (Pom Klementieff) e un alt personaj nou foarte simpatic, care parcă-i scos din nuvela Cântec pentru Lya, a lui George R.R. Martin.
Îmi place că filmul nu se ia tare în serios, batjocorește clișeele și propune o rețetă plină de umor și acțiune. Ce să mai spun despre aspect, echipa de producție s-a întrecut pe sine cu efectele vizuale, planeta Ego te lasă cu gura căscată. Trebuie să menționez însă că nu mi-a plăcut nava lui Ego, arăta ca o pastilă de Tic Tac, iar suveranii aurii arătau ca rudele extraterestre ale lui Paris Hilton. În afara acestor amănunte și a unor scene relativ previzibile, povestea este o încântare, fiindcă te binedispune de la început și-ți permite să-ți păstrezi această stare până la final.
Am lăsat la final coloana sonoră, la fel de ritmată și bine aleasă ca cea din prima parte. Când ți-e dat să auzi piese precum Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl) sau Father and Son (de Cat Stevens), în timp ce te bucuri de scenele din film, nu poți decât să aplauzi inspirația lui Tyler Bates. O coloană sonoră bună poate să-l facă pe spectator să uite de sine sau să vrea să uite de film. În acest caz, nici nu mai vrei să pleci acasă. Și ai face bine să îți urmezi instinctul, pentru că vei avea parte de cinci scene după genericul de final. CineForum te invită la cinema începând de mâine!

Efectele 3D au fost mai reușite și mi-a plăcut cum l-au întinerit digital pe Kurt Russell. Stallone din păcate doar cu numele. Apare în 3 faze (la început, la final și în a doua scenă post credit). Rău nu a fost, dar nu va fi nici cel mai bun film cu super eroi din acest an. Nu e nici măcar aproape la fel de bun ca prima aventură. Deși știam cum se termină tot mi-au dat lacrimile. Finalul la fel de înduioșător ca primul film din serie.
