Zilele trecute am vizionat trailer-ul Sin City: A Dame To Kill For și trebuie să mărturisesc: aștept cu nerăbdare noul film noir, marca Frank Miller și Robert Rodriguez. Și dacă tot apare această parte a doua, mi-am zis că n-ar strica să vă recomand prima parte, deoarece poveștile sunt legate și acțiunea filmului din 2005 o precede pe cea a filmului din 2014. Deși sunt sigură că la întrebarea: „vă plac filmele noir?”, majoritatea ați fi tentați să spuneți că nu, în cazul de față v-aș recomanda să faceți o excepție: Sin City reprezintă o combinație explozivă de efecte, muzică și răsturnări de situație, la care se adaugă o pleiadă întreagă de actori buni și foarte buni, unul mai talentat ca altul. Am fost mai mult decât reticentă în legătură cu acest film, dar mi-am luat inima-n dinți (mulțumită unui sfat foarte bun) și am decis să-l vizionez; foarte inspirată hotărârea, pentru că am rămas vrăjită din primul moment.
Deși începe destul de brutal, iar acțiunea pe parcursul filmului prezintă multe scene violente, înspăimântător de brutale pe alocuri, efectele salvează situația și în loc de sânge împrăștiat peste tot ca-n filmele lui Tarantino (nu e o critică, iubesc filmele lui QT!, iar amprenta lui se vede și-n această producție, doar că într-un mod ceva mai subtil), veți observa un lichid galben care se tot scurge din rănile personajelor; oricât de ciudate vi se vor părea la început, efectele au un rol foarte important în acest film, veți vedea cu ochii voștri. La început vă va fi greu să vă obișnuiți cu imaginile alb negru, eventual cu șiroaiele de sânge galben, rochiile roșii ale superbelor actrițe sau cu ochii perfect de albaștri ai unor personaje, dar faceți un efort și încercați, vă așteaptă surprize plăcute! Veți constata că la urma urmei, efectele chiar au fost armonioase și veți fi uitat că filmul e noir, veți da deoparte acest amănunt și vă veți concentra pe cea mai interesantă parte a filmului: poveștile care se întretaie.
Ador acest tip de scenariu, ca o pânză de păianjen, când fiecare poveste este legată de o alta prin diferite fire și conexiuni, iar la final, toate poveștile se intersectează și răspunsurile pentru diferite scene rămase aparent în aer încep să se contureze. O prostituată ucisă, un fiu de senator care violează minore, un polițist pensionat care încearcă să restabilească dreptatea, un fost pușcăriaș în căutarea răzbunării, toate aceste personaje se unesc sub stindardul păcatului și acționează în consecință. Într-un oraș în care dreptatea se ascunde pe țeava unui pistol sau în mânerul unui cuțit, toate personajele par negative și totuși, orice acțiune poate ascunde o cauza mai mult sau mai puțin nobilă; nu degeaba se spune că drumul spre iad e pavat cu intenții bune…
E un film altfel, atât din prisma efectelor folosite cât și din prisma poveștilor, dar tocmai acest ceva șocant, diferit, rareori întâlnit, a avut un impact atât de puternic asupra mea, astfel încât mă pot declara fană a acestui film, fără nici o ezitare. E bine ca, din când în când, să mai existe și câte o producție de acest gen, care să se diferențieze de celelalte și să atragă cinefilul prin alte mijloace; sper totuși că nu acesta va fi viitorul cinematografiei pentru că nu-mi pot imagina prea multe povești care ar arăta bine puse-n scenă în acest mod. Dar cine știe, vom vedea!
Coloana sonoră mi se pare foarte potrivită, Warrior Woman îmi place mie în mod special, dar vă asigur că ritmul alert al poveștilor este dublat foarte bine de-un soundtrack ales cu atenție. Cât despre actori, aceștia dau viață unor personaje memorabile: Mickey Rourke și Clive Owen mi-au plăcut în mod special, dar nu sunt de neglijat nici Bruce Willis în rolul polițistului sau Rosario Dawson în rolul lui Gail. Sau superba Jessica Alba. Paleta de culori destul de sărăcăcioasă este compensată de cea a personajelor, ce întruchipează caractere contrastante, dar cu background-uri la fel de terifiante; dacă sunteți mai slabi de înger, nu vă recomand filmul, deoarece în Sin City nu există eroi, răul se ascunde până și în ochii clari și albaștri ai unei fetișcane, iar păcatul te-ademenește din spatele unor falduri roșii sau bucle aurii. Unde există păcat, există și pedeapsă; dar ce te faci atunci când sufletul nu se mai teme de nici un supliciu, iar răul iese nestăvilit la suprafață?
