Una dintre cele mai importante instituții ale cinematografiei, The International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) și-a anunțat recent câștigătorii EMEA Awards, unde premiul central a fost acordat multiplexului Cineplexx Ljubljana (Slovenia) la categoria „Cel mai bun cinematograf nou construit al anului”, conform unui comunicat ICTA.
Acordarea acestei distincții reprezintă, în același timp, recunoașterea angajamentului constant și a investițiilor neîntrerupte pe care lanțul de cinematografe austriac, Cineplexx, și le-a asumat față de creșterea industriei cinematografice și îmbunătățirea serviciilor oferite clienților săi pentru o experiență de vizionare cât mai aproape de perfecțiune. În România, Cineplexx este al doilea cel mai important lanț de cinematografe și operează cinci locații în: București (Băneasa și Titan), Sibiu, Satu-Mare și Târgu-Mureș.
Christof Papousek, CFO Cineplexx Group, declară: „Suntem de-a dreptul onorați să primim această recunoaștere pentru noul nostru cinematograf din Slovenia. Locația premiată este o componentă esențială pentru piața slovenă, unde ani la rând nu a existat un multiplex pe măsura unei capitale europene. Cineplexx setează noi standarde, iar succesul acestei misiuni se reflectă în dezvoltarea armonioasă a pieței de cinema care a început odată cu premiera Top Gun Maverick din 2022.”
Construit după standardele Cineplexx, cinematograful capodoperă din Ljubljana a fost inaugurat în mai 2022, este localizat în Supernova Shopping Center și are o capacitate de 1.357 locuri împărțite pe șapte săli. Asemenea tehnologiei și facilitaților folosite în locațiile noi din România, și cinematograful recent premiat este dotat cu sunet Dolby Atmos, imagine îmbunătățită cu RealD și scaune VIP reglabile, de piele, pentru cei mai pretențioși musafiri sau scaunele duble „love seats” pentru vizionări mai confortabile în doi.
Ljubljana este una dintre cele cinci locații nou deschise în ultimii trei ani, aici fiind incluse de asemenea două dintre cele cinci cinematografe românești – de la Sibiu și Târgu-Mureș. În ciuda perioadei extrem de dificile cauzate de pandemia globală, Cineplexx și-a respectat contractele și investițiile inițiale față de țările în care operează. Într-o lume complet digitalizată, cinematografele demonstrează nu doar că pot ține pasul cu tehnologia, ci și că pot depăși toate așteptările în ceea ce privește livrarea emoției colective pe care o trăiești doar în fața marelui ecran.
