Dumbo este un film regizat de Tim Burton după un scenariu scris de Ehren Kruger.

Am văzut Dumbo la T Imax, Afi Cotroceni. Sub bagheta magică a lui Tim Burton, filmul reuşeşte să emoţioneze asemenea animaţiei clasice Disney. Povestea, deşi este, în principiu, pentru copii, surprinde nuanţe mai întunecate şi tensionate. Scenariul este simplu, însă foarte bine scris. Întreaga producţie mizează pe emoţie şi magie, iar rezultatul este, pur şi simplu, minunat!
Acţiunea are loc în 1919, în Sarasota, Florida. Primul război mondial s-a încheiat, iar Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) se întoarce acasă, la Circul Fraţilor Medici. Şeful circului, Max Medici (Danny DeVito), a avut grijă de cei doi copii ai lui Holt, Milly (Nico Parker) şi Joe (Finley Hobbins). Copiii sunt şocaţi să descopere faptul că tatăl lor şi-a pierdut un braţ, în luptă, în timp ce Holt este uimit să afle că numărul lui de la circ a fost anulat şi trebuie să se ocupe de îngrijirea elefanţilor.
Pentru a reuşi să salveze circul, Max Medici speră să dea lovitura cu puiul de elefant care urmează să se nască în curând.
