Studiourile Marvel lansează o echipă nouă, Guardians of the Galaxy! Este un proiect considerat unul din cele mai riscante şi diferite proiecte de la MARVEL. Filmul combină SF-ul cu aventura dar şi cu comedia, după cum aţi putut observa din primul trailer:
Guardians of the Galaxy lărgeşte universul Marvel până în adâncurile cosmosului, unde aventurierul Peter Quill se trezeşte ţinta unei periculoase urmăriri după ce fură un glob cu puteri misterioase. Încercarea de a dejuca planurile lui Ronan, un villain ce ameninţă soarta întregului univers, îl face pe Peter să formeze echipă cu invincibilul Drax Distrugătorul, cu mortala Gamora, cu Groot, un umanoid cu formă de copac şi cu ratonul Rocket. Dar când Peter descoperă adevărata putere a globului şi posibila ameninţare pe care acesta o reprezintă la adresa galaxiei este clar că eroii noștri vor avea de înfruntat nu doar inamici redutabili, ci şi propriile experienţe din trecut, care ar putea să-i dezbine în goana lor pentru salvarea Galaxiei.
James Gunn, regizorul filmului, a dezvăluit că aventurile din acest film vor fi legate de The Avengers 3.
Acum vom prezenta personajele care vor lua parte la acțiune, pentru că sunt mulți cinefili care nu au auzit de aceste personaje. Trebuie să recunosc că nici eu nu am auzit de Gardienii Galaxiei.
Chris Pratt este Peter Quill, alias Star Lord. Star Lord a fost răpit de pe Pământ (Missouri) la vârsta de opt ani și crescut de un grup de prădători numit The Ravagers. Are lipici la partea feminină, îi place să facă pe șmecherul și este foarte norocos. Thanos a măcelărit familia Gamorei și a Nebulei, apoi le-a crescut împreună ca surori. Au fost apoi transformate în arme vii cu ajutorul bioingineriei, așa că Thanos se pricepe de minune să distrugă o ființă.
Zoe Saldana este Gamora. Ea vine de pe o planetă extraterestră, o orfană crescută de misteriosul Thanos, care a transformat-o în arma perfectă. Ca asasină personală a lui Thanos, Gamora și-a câștigat reputația unei luptătoare formidabile. Ea caută acum să se achite de crimele sale din trecut. Zoe Zalanda declara că „Am fost foarte emoționată când James Gunn m-a rugat să mă alătur echipei și să joc pe cineva verde. Am mai fost albastră (în Avatar).”
Dave Bautista este Drax the Destroyer (Drax Distrugătorul), un războinic care vrea să se răzbune pe Ronan, deoarece acesta i-a ucis familia. Drax va face tot ce îi va sta în putință pentru a se răzbuna pe cea mai periculoasă ființă din galaxie.
