Tom Hanks revine pe marele ecran cu un nou rol excelent, așa cum ne-a obișnuit. Hanks interpretează un om de afaceri american – Alan Clay – care merge în Arabia Saudită pentru a încheia afacerea care, speră el, îi va salva cariera. Prin intermediul unor flashback-uri foarte bine alese, aflăm de ce Alan a ajuns într-o situație atât de disperată și cum a devenit un om confuz, care pare să nu fie capabil să își rezolve problemele și să îi ofere sprijin financiar singurei sale fiice, Kit.

În afară de aceste probleme, Alan se ciocnește de o birocrație opacă, iar împreună cu echipa sa trebuie să lucreze la prezentarea pentru rege într-un cort lipsit de conexiune Wireless și de toate lucrurile necesare.
Așadar, nu e de mirare că se simte deprimat și pierdut. Va putea să reușească să găsească o soluție? Poate că da, cu ajutorul noilor săi prieteni și al doctoriței – Zahra – pe care o întâlnește atunci când merge să își facă un control la spate.

În opinia mea, Tom Tywer s-a descurcat de minune și oferă publicului un film reușit.
În ceea ce privește distribuția, Tom Hanks (unul din actorii mei preferați) revine pe marile ecrane cu un rol foarte bun, nu îmi amintesc să fi vizionat un film de-al lui Hanks în care actorul să fi jucat prost. Consider că Hanks este unul din puținii actori, care, indiferent de film, joacă foarte bine și este o plăcere să îl urmărești. Un actor care m-a surprins în mod plăcut a fost Alexander Black, care îl interpretează pe Yousef, un personaj amuzant și carismatic. Sarita Choudhury o aduce la viață pe Zahra, o doctoriță inteligentă, dar care ascunde o tristețe apăsătoare. Actrița se descurcă excelent și, poate, că vă este cunoscută din filme precum “Hunger Games”, “The Accidental Husband” (2008) sau “Lady in the Water” (2006).
