Am vizionat “Jackie” în avanpremieră ieri la Cinema City Sun Plaza. Natalie Portman este uimitoare în rolul lui Jackie Kennedy şi are, din punctul meu de vedere, mari şanse să obţină nu numai o nominalizare la premiile Oscar 2017, ci să plece acasă cu mult râvnita statuetă. Actriţa are deja un Oscar în palmares pentru rolul din “Black Swan” (“Lebăda neagră”).
“Jackie” în regia lui Pablo Larraín ne dezvăluie ceea ce s-a petrecut de la asasinarea preşedintelui J.F. Kennedy până la înmormântarea sa, iar în centrul acţiunii regăsim trăirile Primei Doamne. Jacqueline Kennedy a fost mama a doi copii şi soţia devastată care şi-a pierdut soţul, dar care a înţeles greutatea istorică a momentului.
Prima scenă ne arată casa familiei Kennedy. Un jurnalist (Billy Crudup) vine să îi ia un interviu lui Jackie, primul de la tragicul eveniment. Fumând ţigară după ţigară, doamna Kennedy vorbeşte despre ceea ce a însemnat să fie Prima Doamnă a Americii şi cum a făcut faţă durerii după decesul soţului.
Cu ajutorul flashbackurilor, luăm parte la momente importante din viaţa lui Jacqueline: de la petreceri, concerte private, emisiuni televizate până la asasinarea lui Kennedy, agitaţia care a cuprins SUA şi tot ceea ce a urmat după aceea.
Odată cu întrebările reporterului şi răspunsurile lui Jackie, vom experimenta trăirile unei femei complexe, cu traumele, spaimele şi îndoielile ei. Interviul poate fi considerat, într-o oarecare măsură, o terapie deoarece îi împărtăşeşte ziaristului o parte din sentimentele sale cele mai personale… doar că acestea nu sunt adresate publicului, Jackie îi subliniază clar reporterului ceea ce are voie să publice şi ce nu pentru că povestea ei pentru restul lumii este cea a lui Camelot, visul frumos care a fost spulberat.
Pablo Larraín creează filmul folosind un stil hipnotic, sub forma unui vis lucid. Pune accent pe trăirile lui Jackie, pe ceea ce ea transmite, redând o atmosferă apăsătoare.
Coloana sonoră a lui Micah Levi aduce o contribuţie esenţială interpretării lui Portman deoarece îi acompaniază personajul în cele mai negre momente. Muzica de pe fundal aleasă de Levi pentru aceste scene completează perfect întregul decor şi ajută la transmiterea emoţiilor personajului principal.
În ceea ce priveşte distribuţia, Natalie Portman a demonstrat deja că este o actriţă capabilă să joace roluri diferite, având o carieră impresionantă şi multe premii. Ca Jackie, cu coafura sa celebră, purtând perle şi ţinute impecabile, nu seamănă doar fizic cu fosta Primă Doamnă, ci şi ca gesturi, modul de a rosti cuvintele şi mimica. Ceilalţi actori, chiar dacă se descurcă foarte bine, au o contribuţie mică deoarece, aşa cum am precizat deja, accentul este pus pe Jackie, iar povestea este despre ea.
Trebuie să menţionez că pelicula se adresează, în principal, persoanelor care sunt în temă cu anii 1960 în SUA ,deoarece nu ne oferă multe amănunte, ci se axează pe anumite momente din viaţa Primei Doamne.
În concluzie, “Jackie” este un film care ne prezintă evoluţia unei femei puternice, care devine nu numai văduva lui Kennedy, ci a SUA.
