Cred că mi-am găsit filmul preferat pentru Oscar-urile de anul acesta: Jocul Codurilor, titlu original The imitation game, producția care aduce un omagiu omului despre care Winston Churchill spunea că a avut cea mai importantă contribuție în efortul de război al Marii Britanii. Deși personajelor inapte care au putut să condamne un asemenea erou pentru „delictul” de a fi homosexual nu poți decât să le urezi să fiarbă în smoala cea mai fierbinte în cel mai năprasnic iad, celor care au pus umărul pentru realizarea acestui film trebuie să le mulțumim, căci au restabilit imaginea unui savant briliant, Alan Turing. Nici nu mă miră că filmul deja s-a cocoțat în topul 250 de pe IMDb, având o notă foarte mare (deși ar merita chiar și mai mult decât 8,2). Această producție este superbă din toate punctele de vedere, dar mai ales grație reușitei combinații de genuri: biografie, thriller, dramă. Nici măcar replicile pe alocuri siropoase nu știrbesc din frumusețea unui film ce prezintă cu atâta finețe un om genial, dar nefericit.
Jocul Codurilor, deși durează aproape 2 ore, nu te lasă să pleci din fața ecranului, nu te poți mișca, acțiunea te absoarbe cu totul, iar drama începe să te sufoce prin intensitate. Povestea este atât de frumoasă și, totuși, dureroasă, încât îți vine să plângi de necaz. Chiar Benedict Cumberbatch, cel care-i dă viață lui Turing, a mărturisit că în timpul unei scene finale, nu s-a mai putut opri din plâns, ca într-o cădere nervoasă. Motivul: atașamentul său pentru personajul jucat, gândul că acesta a suferit enorm și a fost afectat atât de tare de evenimentele teribile din viața sa.
