Am stat și m-am gândit destul de mult până m-am decis dacă să scriu sau nu despre un serial foarte promițător, care a fost din păcate suspendat, după 3 sezoane. Acum 2 ani a apărut ultimul sezon deci nu mai există, din păcate, șanse să mai fie continuată povestea. Serialul în cauză se numește Lie to me, mi-a fost recomandat de mulți prieteni cu gusturi excelente, cinematografic vorbind, iar acum a venit rândul meu să-l recomand mai departe. Deși sunt super frustrată și enervată de faptul că producția a fost sistată, sunt recunoscătoare măcar pentru cele 3 sezoane pe care le-am putut viziona. Vă spun sincer, de la House încoace n-am mai văzut un personaj atât de nebun, plin de sine, dar charismatic, inteligent și surprinzător. Plus că are un accent, de înnebunești. Dr. Cal Lightman este un expert în citirea limbajului corpului și a expresiilor faciale, de aceea nici o tentativă de înșelăciune sau fraudă nu rămâne nedescoperită, tipul e ca un poligraf ambulant (plus că e mai practic și eficient), citește cele mai intime gânduri ale unui om doar uitându-se la felul în care zâmbește, își așază părul sau își ascunde privirea. Lightman Group, firma pe care o deține în coproprietate cu dr. Gillian Foster, are clienți care mai de care mai diferiți, de la miliardari înșelați până la tineri rebeli, de la Casa Albă și până la FBI. De aceea fiecare episod cuprinde 2 cazuri de cele mai multe ori, pe care Lightman și Gillian le tratează în paralel, dar pe care nu le lasă niciodată fără răspuns. Pentru cei interesați, puteți citi cărțile lui Paul Elkman, cel mai cunoscut expert în recunoașterea expresiilor faciale, ale cărui cercetări au stat la baza serialului Lie to me.
